Robert J. Schutz, P.E.
Is the retired Chief Building Official of the City of Powell (OH) and is currently a Consulting Engineer serving as the contract Plans Examiner and Inspector for several municipalities in central Ohio. Bob is also the worldwide training coordinator for the ICC. He is a civil engineering graduate of the Ohio Northern University with post-graduate studies at the Ohio State University and the University of Southern California. Bob is a registered Professional Engineer and Professional Surveyor in the State of Ohio where is also certified as a Building Official, Plans Examiner, Mechanical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector and Electrical Safety Inspector. Bob previously served as the Chief Engineer with the State of Ohio Health Department where he supervised the Plumbing Inspection program, was the Chairman of the Plumbing Advisory Board and was a member of the Ohio Board of Building Standards. Bob currently is one of twelve voting members on the Code Development Committee of the International Plumbing Code and instructs on the Mechanical, Plumbing and Building Codes.

Electrical Code
Mr. Sam Cronk
OCR is proud to welcome Mr. Sam Cronk EL Instructor to our Faculty. Mr. Cronk will present EL Classes using Power Pt., and has extensive knowledge & experience with the interpretation and application of the National Electrical Code. He is Certified as an ESI and Electrical Plans Examiner.

Sam is also a Journeyman Electrician and has designed and installed Heavy Industrial, Commercial, and Residential Electrical Systems.
